Location: The apartment is located right on the edge between Kreuzberg and Mitte. To get to the famous O-Straße (Oranienstraße) with its multi-cultural mix of bars and restaurants its just a few minutes walk from the apartment. Prinzessinnengarten, an also famous urban gardening project is also just round the corner. You can go there if you feel like digging in the earth would be a wellness activity for you and ask what to do, or just buy your vegetable and salads there. They have a great café and one-menue restaurant there as well.

Mitte (literally "middle") is the central district of Berlin, which is comprised of the formerly autonomous boroughs of Moabit, Tiergarten and Wedding, and located in the heart of the city. The district is packed with sightseeing attractions, such as the Museumsinsel (Museum Island), Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg Gate), Unter den Linden (Under the Lime Trees), a major boulevard lined with attractive eateries and tourist shops, Potsdamer Platz (Potsdam Square), the Reichstag, home to the German Parliament, and Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Berlin Central Station), the impressive primary railway station of the city-state of Berlin.

The district features a vast array of eating and shopping opportunities, and connections to the majority of the primary public transit hubs. It also boasts one of Germany's most renowned universities, the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Humboldt University of Berlin), which is home to over 30,000 students.

Practically on your doorstep there is the bus stop Mariannenplatz (Bus140 to Tempelhof and Ostbahnhof) and around the corner the subway station Moritzplatz (U8 via Alexander Platz to Wittenau) and still in walking distance Goerlitzer Bahnhof (U1) and Kotbusser Tor (U1 / U8)

In light of recent events we would like to strongly recommend a regular cleaning service, as our experience shows that the final cleaning can become a huge undertaking otherwise. You can book it from any service provider or use our services; that’s up to you. Please let us know if you would like to find out about our cleaning fees.

At the end of your tenancy there is a final cleaning fee due. We charge for a regular final cleaning (incl. 6 hours): 150,00 Euro, every additional hour costs 20,00 Euro. The final cleaning can also be done by the service provider of your choice but only, if they meet our criteria with regards to a perfectly cleaned flat.
